Refund Policies

Refund policies for each program are listed below. If you have any questions about these policies please contact the club treasurer.

Tournament Teams

1. Administrative Fee A non-refundable administrative fee of $50 will be deducted from all refunds to cover processing and administrative costs. 2. Full Refund (Minus Administrative Fee) Players who withdraw from the tournament more than 30 days before the scheduled start date will receive a refund of their registration fees, minus the $50 administrative fee. Example: If the tournament starts on August 15, withdrawals made before July 16 are eligible for a full refund minus the administrative fee. 3. No Refund Period No refunds will be issued for withdrawals made within 30 days of the tournament start date, as the team will have already incurred costs (e.g., tournament registration, ice time, equipment). Exception: In cases of documented medical emergencies or other extenuating circumstances (e.g., family emergencies), the team organizers may grant a partial refund or a credit for a future tournament. These cases will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at the organizers’ discretion. For medical emergencies, a doctor’s note or relevant medical documentation must be provided with the refund request. If a partial refund or credit is granted, it will be minus the $50 administrative fee. 4. Tournament Cancellation If the tournament is canceled by the organizers or due to circumstances beyond the team’s control (e.g., weather, pandemic, or other unforeseen events), all players will receive a full refund of their registration fees, including the administrative fee. 5. Refund Request Process All refund requests must be submitted in writing to refunds@maverickshc.com. Approved refunds will be processed within 14 days of approval and issued in the same currency and through the same payment method as the original payment, unless otherwise agreed upon. 6. Policy Modifications The team organizers reserve the right to modify this refund policy. Any changes will be posted on the team’s website and communicated to registered players via email. Note: Changes to this policy will not affect players who have already registered under the current policy.
